Local musicians and writers will participate in the “multi-talent” night, which includes live music and readings. The program includes the music of Rebecca Pronsky (recent release “the early hours”), Josh McMillan (recent release “cherry pie”), Beth Schenck and Matt Wrobel (alta sax and guitar duo playing ballads and casanovas), and a reading by Doug Gordon (author of The Engaged Groom , Harper Collins). ”Our ‘eye candy’ nights, which exhibit art by various local artists, have been extremely popular. Cocoa Bar has been packed during our ‘eye candy’ shows with little room left to stand because brooklynites are great supporters of the arts” said Liat Cohen, co-owner of cocoa bar. “What better way to continue involving artists than to invite local musicians to share our space? Park Slopers are in for a real treat,” she added. Cocoa Bar, located on 7th avenue in park slope, opened earlier this year offering a triple indulgence of coffee, chocolate and wine. Their menu has over 12 chocolate-based cakes, two cases of chocolate treats and over 40 unique wines to choose from. Cocoa bar also hosts many private parties and catering events. The three-hour event will include
the performances of various local talent and will encourage visitors to
